We cater for holidays, weekend getaways, overnight stays, school development courses, conferences and team building exercises – all in the beauty and tranquillity of one of South Africa's most scenic regions. Abseiling, a cross-valley fuffi slide, river rafting, hiking, fishing, fantastic dining, historical sight-seeing or plain old relaxing are all provided for, with qualified instructors and helpful staff on hand to make each of these experiences as enjoyable and memorable as possible.

AA accredited self catering chalets with meal options available. Facilities include abseiling,river rafting, on site fishing, foffi slide and walking trails. Fully licensed pub and restaurant on the property. Conference facilities for up to 60 delegates with teambuilding options available. Dormitories available for backpackers, social and school groups.

The whole idea of holidaying at White Mountain Lodge is relaxation, whether through enjoyable activities or lazy days in beautiful natural surroundings. In other words doing as you please at your leisure.

Being a country lodge, White Mountain Lodge offers rooms and chalets with self catering or full board facilities. Our chalets are tastefully decorated in a country style and set amidst vibrant indigenous gardens offering seclusion and privacy. Individual barbecue facilities are provided at most of the chalets for those outside catering urges.

Whether it be indoor in front of warm fires or outdoors enjoying the crisp, fresh Drakensberg air, the natural splendor and energy of the KwaZulu Natal Drakensberg is almost impossible to escape. The natural flora and fauna of the region is abundant at White Mountain Lodge with mountains, riverine forests and dams at your front door.

Directions

Directions from Durban Travelling from Durban along the N3, take the Estcourt South turnoff (Exit 168). Turn right over the bridge and travel approximately 7 km into Estcourt. Go over the steel bridge, keep right and follow the road uphill to the first traffic lights, where you turn left into Richmond Road. Stay on this road for 34 km, following the White Mountain Lodge signs. Durban to White Mountain Lodge: ± 200 km Directions from Johannesburg Travelling from Johannesburg on the N3, take the Estcourt North turnoff (Exit 179). Follow this road into Estcourt. Cross over Phillips and Harding Streets and, at the third robot, turn right into Connor Street (which becomes Richmond Road). Stay on this road for 34 km, following the White Mountain Lodge signs.
