The Tower of Pizza has become a famous landmark and experience of traditional farmstyle hospitality in close proximity to all major attractions in the Amphitheatre valley, Northern Drakensberg. Artistic and off beat décor complement the tranquil and natural beauty of the area. Other Italian foods are also available along with our famous wood burning oven pizzas, that are freshly made on order from the closely guarded family recipe.

Tower of Pizza has its origin in an unused grain silo, which with the addition of a traditional wood burning pizza oven became a pizzeria. This quickly became a popular meeting place for both the local people and tourists and has grown into a landmark in the area. It is even used as a halfway meeting point for people travelling between Durban and Johannesburg.

The Tower of Pizza is 10km from the Royal Natal National Park which is in the Okahlamba Drakensberg World heritage site

The accommodation was recently rated as a three star B&B establishment by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

All our cottages are individual standing units with en-suite bathrooms:

• Two thatched cottages with shower and one bedroom (one double bed and two singles) – max 4 guests.
• Two thatched cottages with shower and one bedroom (one double bed and one single) – max 3 guests.
• Two cottages with shower and one bedroom (one double bed and one single) - max 3 guests & fireplace
